CCHC Rules 1. Every class offered herein will be conducted under the guidelines of the AHSA and NEHC, CCHC, Inc. rules however, supersede all others when necessary. 2. The horse show management and its associates as well as CJ's Ranch, its owners, managers and employees will not be responsible for any accident that may occur to any animal, person or property. Each exhibitor and spectator shall hold harmless and indemnify them against any legal proceeding or liabilities arising from such accident or loss of property caused to or by property or employee of such exhibitor.Under MA. Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to section 2D of Chapter 128 of the General Laws. Section 2. This act shall apply to causes of action filed on or after the effective date of this act. Approved October 16, 1992. 3. Proof of negative coggins must accompany each horse. 4. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 5. All riders shall be properly attired for both English or Western classes.Any Junior rider jumping, must wear a hard hat, with harness. Proper attire for Western classes include a long sleeve shirt with a collar, western hat and western boots. Chaps are optional. No rider shall be penalized for wearing a hard hat with harness. Proper English attire include a traditional hunt seat style coat with conservative breeches of buff, gray or rust or jodhpurs.High English boots or jodhpur boots. Black or brown hunt cap. Approved harness is mandatory for all English riders under 18 yrs. of age. Tie or choker required. 6. Braiding is not necessary, but we do encourage it! 7. No exhibitor or person shall approach the judge for any reason unless he first obtains permission from the management. This will be strictly enforced by immediate removal from the show grounds. 8. The show management reserves the right not to delay classes for an unreasonable amount of time, due to conflicts. It is the exhibitors responsibility to notify the secretaries booth of any conflicts in advance. 9. Please respect the fact that this is someone else's property. Please stay in designated horse show area. No wandering through barns. Please keep your dogs on a leash or under control. Please don't empty trailers of trash or manure onto field. 10. Each entry will be given a number, it is your responsibility to wear the assigned number. Please notify secretary of all canceled or switched classes in adequate time to notify all officials. 11. In any class the judge or horse show committee shall have the authority to require the removal or alteration of any piece of equipment that in his/her or their opinion is unsafe, intends to give an unfair advantage, or is inhumane. 12. All classes are $7.00 each. Warm Ups are free. There is a one time nomination fee of $15.00, in order to accrue year end points. Points will accrue from the date paid. |
